The killing of the fierce elephant kuvalaiyApETam is referred to by Sri kaliyan in the sixth ten of Thriumozhi. 'pugu vAi ninRa..pOdhagam vEzhap porudhAnUr'6-5-6; Surpisingly Sri kulasEkarAzhwAr seems to have used several words alluding to the jumbo. He again compares EmperumAn with that of the elephant.
