DEar devotee :

 

I am not sure why there is the tying up of

the two dhaNdams as you pointed out from the pictures .

Perhapssome one close to HH ParakAla Matam Jeeyar

can request the revered Jeeyar to shed some light .

Significance of the Knots on the mukkOl

Dear Swamin,I see two (or more) knots in the mukkOl, For example in

the (holy) photohttp://www.pbase.com/svami/image/49809299we can see

the one which ties the 3 dhandams and 2 dhandams seperately.Is there

any particular reason for this ?adiyEn,Lak Sri
