REcap: It was seen that AchAryan does the good for the soul by himself

-hitham and blesses for the sustenance of the sishyan thorugh

EmperumAn -Priyam. However, the upliftment of the Atman is his prime

concern.

 

AhankAram virOdhi : While imparting knowledge to the sishyan, the

ahankAram or ego is the prime enemy. How? While educating so, if the

AchAryan thinks that he is imparting the knowledge, the ego creeps

in. As actually he is doing this as a representative of his

swachAryan- this should not arise.

 

Thus, the feeling " I am rescuing the sishyan' ahankAram is the virOadhi for AchAryan.

 

Thus the feeling will result in

 

a. swarUpa hAni and

b. Vested interest creeping in.

 

Hence, the feeling that he is rescuing the sishyan should not come .

The feeling that he is the extension of AchAryan should always

persist,
