Please do a google search on "Lunar+Eclipse+NASA " . You will have more information than you would want (Trajectories) . Oct 17 Morning LA Times will have site specific info . Guest guest
As LA and SF fall just near the border areas of eclipsed moon set and visible eclipse, I am giving a rough duration as per NASA and PDT info. Umbral eclipse start is at 0433 Hrs and middle at 0503 Hrs and end at 0532 Hrs but penumbral eclipse is still more. The moon set at LA I found to be 0710 PDT. I only hope that the info is correct. Wishing Happy Vijaya dasami Ramanuja > Dear Sri Parhtasarathy : > > Yes , it is visible in LA. > Details are available in NASA Lunar Eclipse calendar . > Please do a google search on "Lunar+Eclipse+NASA " . > You will have more information than you would want (Trajectories) . > Oct 17 Morning LA Times will have site specific info . > > Best wishes , > V.S > > - > Parthasarathi BR > Oppiliappan > Cc: s ; oppiliappan > Monday, October 10, 2005 12:10 PM > Re: Re: lunar eclipse on 17th oct 05 > > > Is It Visible in Los Angelis CA > If so the timings Pls > DASAN BRParthasarathi > > > On 10/10/05, M.N.Ramanuja <mnr wrote: > > Dear sir, > > As per information, the lunar eclipse is not at all visible from the > African belt and Europe including UK, Ireland and Iceland. > > Ramanuja > > On 9 Oct 2005, s wrote: > > > dear sir, > i would like to know if the lunar eclipse occurs at U.K. and if so can > i > have details like starting, maximum and completion timings of the > same. i > am located at Bournemouth, southwest of London. > thanking you, > santhanam > > >
