Visit to Tirupati GarudaSeva, Desikan Mangalaasaasanam-Part I

dear Bhagavathas,

 

adiyen had a bHagyam of witnessing the important

festivals of both Tirupati - GarudaSeva and Purattasi

Thiruvonam Thoopul Vedanta Desikan MangalAsasanam at

Kanchipuram.

 

It was extraordinary and gift (boon) to adiyen's

athma to witness these festivals in the consecutive days.

Adiyen would like to share the events with Bhagavathas!

 

On 8th-Oct at around 3.40 P.M, adiyen reached Tirupati.

THen adiyen moved to Thiruchanoor to meet Thayar

first and to have her kripa. Before visiting her,

I took holy bath at Pushkarini near Padmavathi temple.

 

Usually, near the Moolavar, they wont allow any to stand

even for a second. Since, on that day, being Navarathri

there was huge crowd to witness the festival. By HER grace

adiyen was able to stand for minutes together to have

darshan of Thayar sitting on "Golden Lotus". Really, it

adiyen never felt an experience like that. She was looking

as if really she is sitting on Golden lotus and giving darshan.

 

The Utsavar of Thayar with sarvAlankaram came as

procession. After getting permission from Her, adiyen

moved to Tirumala to have darshan of our beloved Venkateshwara

Swami on Garuda with all AlankaraBooshanam(Makara kandi,

Lakshmi Maalai, Srivilliputhur Andal's Maalai, etc.,)

 

Really it was hude crowd, even TTD devasthanam couldnt

able to control it. The procession took start at 9.00PM

By His grace, adiyen coulld able to reach at 9.15 P.M.

I had a darshan only at 11.15 P.M.

 

When the Lord moves along the Bhaktas, adiyen could here

the nAma "Venkataramana Govinda, Govinda"

 

As the procession moves, one could see, Lord Himself

enjoys by being in the crowd of Bhakthas. He moves with

dance, and smile in His face, made the Bhagavathas like

us to enjoy more.... What to say...... No words to explain

the event.

 

As when ThiruPanalwar enjoys the beauty of Periya Perumal,

at some places he couldn't able to explain in words. He

sang, " Neelameni Ayyo.....kollai kondathuve." The same

thing for the above- Venkatesa Garudasevai.

 

We can't see Bhagavan (ParamPorul), how he will be. If we

want to see Him, we can have darshan at His temple. Here in

Garuda Seva, Periya Thiruvadi, holding the Lotus feet of

our Malayappa Swami at both hands, showing to the Bhagthas

and telling- "Here is our Bhagavan, who is Pathi for us. Have

darshan, get his kripa and attain His Lotus feet"
