Iyengar, Your reciting Sri Vishnu SahasranAmam is The Best and foremost of all Prayers one can think of. Bhishma has declared it ,in the opening verses itself that Sri Vishnu SahasraNamam is unique and the Best Dharma one can think of. In the Phalasruthi also it is clearly declared as the one prayer that Bestows all the Virtues and Good Things on the aspirant . As advocatded by our elders Sri Vishnu Sahasra Nama recital is enough to Bring all Peace and Prosperity one can aspire for.You may recite Sri Lakshmi Ashtakam/Ashtothram for praying The Divine Dhampathies together. Pl do continue the recital and nothing more is needed. It is the unshakeable faith on the Lord and recital of His Divine Names that is the Best solution for both material and spiritual aspirations. Bhagavan will bless you even without your asking for anything, as He is karuNA-samudra ( apAra karuNAmbudhe ! ). Please do NOT mistake this - just ONE cent worth advise: Kindly continue to do the same or any other prayers you offer " WITH-OUT EXPECTING ANYTHING IN RETURN " ( also called nishkAma karma ). Kindly go by the Great Kulasekhara Azhwar's teaching in Sri Mukunda mAla " ... yadyat bhavyam bhavatu bhagavAn pUrva karmAnurUpam..
