Dear Swamin

Though it is not our custom to convey greetings for a

year(new), it has become practice to tell "Happy new year". That practice is

enacted now, saying " Happy & prosperous new year to you & your family

There is some delay in the continous construction of

Mahamandap because of heavy, very heavy , very very heavy rains follwed by

cyclonic wind and floods in Cuddalore District in about six heavy spells

commencing from october to december this year. Sand is like gold which is not

available , cement's cost is going up besides steel. The cost is therefore

increased to ten lacs. Srikainkarya will however fulfill this . Mahamandap will

be raised before Rathasapthami in February,2006 and architectural work of

putting lotus etc in the inner-side of ceiling, painting etc will be continued

thereafter

Srikainkarya is , meanwhile , in the midst of preparing the Sovenierforwhich

morethan 30 photos of Sri Hayagreevar have been received and all stotras have

also been sent for printing, besides vizhayadhanams

Srikainkarya is glad to receive donors / sponsors for the photos , further.

Srikainkarya will post the progress periodically

Again wish all of you very happy new year

Dasan

Thank you for contacting the National Geographic Society. We appreciate

the great interest shown by our members and friends, and we wish that we

were able to provide individual replies to each question. Unfortunately,

due to the volume of inquiries received, that is many times not possible.

This automatic reply is sent in response to all email inquiries. Many

questions are answered by the following FAQs or by the website index (see

below). Please take a moment to look through them, as inquiries that are

answered by the FAQs will receive no additional response. All the

questions will be read, however; any not answered below will receive a

response, generally within two weeks. Because our staff is quite small, we

are not able to do in-depth research, answer contest questions, settle

bets, provide reference service, or respond by specific deadlines. Don't

forget that your local public library is an excellent source of information

on almost any topic. The library reference staff will be happy to help you

find what you need.
