Good Bad and Bad Good

 

Is there a good in bad and bad in good. Yes. As per AzhwAr;s pAsuram-s there are

bad apples in good lot and good apple in bad lot.

 

An instance; Sri vibhEshanAzhwAn and Sri PrahlAdhan are born in the demon clan.

However, they are pious souls. that is good frombad.

 

This is what Sri ANDAL mentions pollA arakkan ( ThiruppAvai 13) as the

aformentioned two are good souls.

 

The same analogy is drawn in vEdhic treatise. Generally, the vEdham-s and

upanishads are good lot. However, the treatises dealing with other deities pure

rituals and sacrifieces are not indeed pure and good. they are bad out of good

lot.

 

This is what comes up when Sri ANDAL mentions 'vAi nallAr nalla maRAi ODhi

manthirathAl' nAchiyAr Thriumzohi 6-7;

 

Sir Nam AzhwAr in his magnum opus ThiruvAimzohi 'nal vEdathu oli' 7-3-4;

 

Here, in the Thirumozhi dedicated for ThirunAgai Sri Thirumangai mannan 'ivaL

vAyil nal vEdham vOAdhum vEAdhiyar'9-2-1; Para-kAla nAyaki identifies the

Sparkling entity as the one who has recited the good vEdhic works.

 

The VyakyAnam mentions categorically 'purusha sUkthAdhigaLaip pOlEa '.The Vedhci

portion exclusively dedciated to EmperumAn.

 

Apparently even the vedhic works do have unwanted portions unlike aruLich cheyal

where it is EmeprumAn all the way.
