Dear bhagavatas,

 

Thirumalai ananthAzhvan is one of the prime disciples of Sri Ramanuja. Like

bharathAzhvan to Sri Ramapiran who did service as per the wish of

perumal-(pArathantriyam) thirumalai ananthAzhvan as per the wish of Sri Ramanuja

went to thirumalai to do pushpa kainkaryam to thiruvenkatamudaiyan. There are

many divine stories about thirumalaiappan and ananthAzhvan in our guru

paramparai. There are utsavams that still remind us the divine service of

ananthAzhvan and what amount of pleasure it gave to thiruvenkatamudaiyan (since

the lord enacts the episodes even today)

 

This is the 952nd avatara year of swamy ananthAzhvan. A grand celebration has

been planned in the divine premises (AnanthAzhvan thOttam) on 26-2-2006.

Ubhayavedanta ghosti and upanyasams have been arranged. The celebrations will

start by 5 in the morning. All are welcome.
