Dear Sri Balaji: Please accept adiyen's humble pranam:

There is a very severe papam (sin) known as "Bhagavatha Apacharam".

Sri Vaishnava acharyas have explained over and over that "Bhagavatha

Apacharam"

(Apachara against a devotee) is one that is not forgiven by the LORD.

It is said that the Lord will forgive you of sins committed against but

for the sins against devotees, you have to go back to the devotee and

seek that devotee's heartfelt forgiveness.

eg: Lord has an Acharya, (who is a very dear and extremely sincere devotee)

when anyone performs apachara agaist this devotee (or any other devotee)

the LORD will not forgive these sins. The only person who can forgive this

sin is the devotee against whom the apachara has been committed.

The quote from your mail "

devotion unto Me completely burns to ashes, sins committed by My devotees."

Our Acharyas have dealt with this point, saying that if you are a sincere

and try devotee of the LORD, and performed apachara to another devotee

(very rare)

the lord will show you the right path and show you the right path to seek

forgiveness from the devotee himself.

[PS: Please read the GPP 6000 series or the

Notes by sri TCA Venkatesan on Ramanuja list A day in the life of our Acharya]
