It is customary to wear Panchakacham only by Gruhastas, i.e those who are married. Lord Sri Anjaneya is a Brahmachari. Is it right to attire the Murthy of Sri Anjaneya with Panchakacham ? 2) In many Anjaneya Temples, Tulasi is used in Archana to the diety. Tulasi is a very sacred leaf, and adorned our Lord Sriman Narayana as Garland and, it is customary to do archanai to The Lord Sriman Narayana with Tulasi . Can Tulasi be used in Archanai to Sri Anjaneya ? Clarifcation of this matter will be of use to many devotees. There is no Saastra PramANam for the dress code of AnjanEya , who is a BrahmachAri. As Parama Raama Bhakthar , he would prefer TuLasi archanai is reserved for His Lord . PushpArchanai is preferrable .
