Srihi

Respected Bhagavathas,

http://www.pbase.com/svami/kunigal

I had an oppurtunity to visit the this Temple of Nrusimha,Soumiya Keshava and

Mahalakshmi Thayar.

The Original moorthy was Ugra Narasimha as in Pic 1241

Then they did the Prathistai of Soumiya Moorthy of Soumiya Keshava Pic 1242.

Then did the Prathistai of Sri Devi and Bhoo Devi Sametha Nrusimha 2143 & 44

Also, observe the tall Dwarapalakas

Thani Koil Nachiyar , Mahalakshmi.

Half kilometer away is Kote Anjaneya Temple and Sannidhi for Thiruvadi .

Kunigal is approximately 60 Kms from Bangalore.

Sri Ramajayam,

Dear Srimaan Sridhar,

Pranamams. Your collection of Karnataka temples is

wonderful. I would like to point out another temple in

Hassan, Keshava Perumal Koil that is situated right in

the heart of the city itself. (I'm mentioning this to

avoid confusion with Bindignaville Koil). My visits to

this beautiful and peaceful temple are filled with

memories during my few years of stay at Hassan. It is

said to be very old and maintained in a fairly good

condition. I got introduced to the temple and its

Bhattar through my acquintance with a local Iyengar

bakery owner at Hassan. Though I'm unable to provide

more details on the exact location, I'm very sure a

brief inquiry at Hassan Iyengar bakery should yield

more details.

Daasan,

Uppili
