Guest guest
Namaskaram to bhagavathas! Adiyen gone to Thiru AadhanUr, near Kumbakonam to present Thiru Aabharanams to moolavar thAyAr. Moolavar thAyAr thirunamam: Bhaargavi thayar (or) kamalavaasini thayar Utsavar thirunaamam : Renganayaki thayar This divyadesam is taken care by Sri Azhagiya Singar of Sri Aholbila Mutt along with Thiru Pullam boothangudi divya desam. When adiyen entered into the temple, bhattar waited for me, since adiyen intimated to him through phone that adiyen is coming there for samarpanam. Since bhattar knew well about adiyen, he invited me and then presented the thilakam with embedded stones and karna patram to moolavar thayar. After adorning this, now SHE is looking very happy and thereby fulfilling adiyens desire also. This is HER krupa only. When adiyen visited this sthalam first SHE give darshan without having any alankara divya booshanam or aabharanams on HER thirumeni. As a child of HER adiyen was worried on seeing HER without any divyaAbharanams. As a result, SHE made me as an instrument for doing this kainkaryam to HER. Still adiyen is in the process of completing the full divyaAbharanams. Now mookuththi, bullakku for both moolavar thayar and utsavar is under process. I request all the bhagavathas to visit this divya desam and support in your own way like this.............Each vaisanavite is responsible for taking care of atleast one divyadesam (out of 108 ! ) . Each can support by offering either amount or present aabharanams, vessels for poojas, vastrams for deities, support of conducting some utsavams, prasadams to bhakthas, etc., We have to consider each divya desam as equal on par with Sri Rangam. Of course, thiru AadhanUr is also once called Aadhi Rangam, where emperuman is considered to arrive in this divya desam before Sri Ranganathar arrived from Ayothi by Vibheesanar to Sri Rangam. Aandalakkum Aiyyan at this divya desam is measuring ones' good and bad using marakkal (padi) and make note of it in palm leaves which can be seen still now near moolavar thirumeni. Hence name "Aandu Alakkum" Aiyan - our emperuman. The Jeevathmaa's Karma palan is well explained by this perumal of this Thiru Aadhanoor shetram. There are so many resemblence of this divya desam with Sri Rangam. Some of these which adiyen could find out is: 1. Here emperumaan in kidantha kOlam - bhujanga sayanam at thiru AadhanUr ---> same in Sri Rangam 2. Pranava Vimaanam at thiru AadhanUr ---> same in Sri Rangam (Note: The shape of vimaanam in thiru aadhanUr is not same in Sri Rangam) 3. Sri Azhagiya Manavaala Perumal (Utsavar) at thiru AadhanUr ---> same in Sri Rangam 4. Sri Renganayaki thayar (utsavar) at thiru AadhanUr ---> same in Sri Rangam 5. Surya Pushkarini at thiru AadhanUr ---> Chandra Pushkarini in Sri Rangam (both Surya and Chandra are eyes of emperuman) Some of the uniqueness about this divya desam were: 1. In this thirumangai Alwar is standing near moolavar lotus feet ---- Only in this divya desam out of 108 divya desam alwar is inside the moolavar sanctum (garbhagriham). In all other divya desams, alwars will be outside the garbhagrihams of perumal. 2. Thirumeni of Shri Adi vaN satagopa Jeeyar near Utsavar perumal ---- adiyen hopes that in no divya desam, any acharyas thirumeni is standing near Utsavar perumal. (let adiyen clarifies this through your comments) (For pictures visit http://www.srivaishnavam.com/divyadesam108/virtualtour/vt_adhanur1.htm ) adiyen senthil.b
Guest guest
Dear Sri Kumar: I am very thankful to you to spend your efforts and selvam to see that the Thaayaar in this kshethram gives sevai with Divyaabharanams. I appreciate you for attending to the absolute needs of our home- temples which lack resources. I made the following two observations in your posting. 1.Srirangam has surya pushkarani though it is dry and sometimes used, sadly, as a toilet especially during Thiru_adyayana_utsavam by the security staff. It is on the right side to Periya Garudan sannidhi (to our left). 2.Garudaazhwar gives sevai with Sri Rangamannaar as His father-in-law (Periyaazhwar) in Sri Andaal's DivyaKshethram. May I encourage you to continue what you are already doing? K. P.
