Monkey business

A sequel I heard to Sandeep's story was that one of the Monkeys , who were all

Capuchins except

for one called Hanuman , was perplexed at the situation they were in , so he

pondered on their

dilemna and then suddenly realised that he wasn't a monkey after all but 'That'

which was aware of

his monkey body .[sounds familiar].He told the other monkeys his discovery and

they began

pondering "that somebody was trying to make monkeys out of them and they

weren't really monkeys

after all.They only thought they were .When the Authorities saw what was

happening they stopped

the cold water dowsing and announced "ok you monks-you've seen through the game

- now you are

all free !"

 

Incidently to follow Miles's posting ,the leaders of the monkey herd in

Ramanashramam used to

consult with Ramana about their problems and he would give advice .He once

said"when there were

bickering and misunderstandings both parties would come to me and I would pacify

them and stop

their quarelling "Page 55 , same book that Miles quotes .
