Miles and others can answer the question well also. Sri Ramana distinguished between the Anahata (Heart Center of Kundalini Yoga) and the "Spiritual Heart". Guest guest Posted September 3, 2003 Report Share Posted September 3, 2003 ---Dear Hur , it is very clear if you read Talks that the Maharshi fully understood and was an expert in knowing all the implications of the Kundalini .There are 14 interesting references in this book alone .There are also references and comments in David Godman's 'Be As You Are' ..According to Godman. Bhagavan maintained that Self-Enquiry would automatically send the kundalini to the Heart Centre,he taught that separate yoga exercises were unnecessary .Here is 1 quote of Ramana's . "The Self is reached by the search for the origin of the ego and by diving into the Heart.This is the direct method of Self-Realisation.One who adopts it need not worry about nadis,the brain centre[sahasrara],the sushumna,the paranadi,the kundalini pranayama or the six centres [chakras] .."
