sarvabhUtasthamAtmAnam sarvabhUtAni cAtmani |

Ikshate yogayuktAtmA sarvatra samadarSanah ||

One devoted to Yoga sees the Self abiding in all beings and all beings in the Self.

He looks on all things impartially.

D. : Samatvam yoga uchyate (Equanimity is yoga). What is that equanimity?

M. : It is unity in diversity. The universe is now seen to be diverse. See the

common factor (sama) in all objects. When that is done, equality in the pairs

of opposites (dwandwani) naturally follows. (from Talks; 319)
