Guest guest
om namo bhagavate sri ramanaya Dear Members, I have been at Ramanashram for 2 weeks and just returned last Sunday. There have been many photos made which I want to share with you in this group together with reports about the places, which may be of interest for those who never have been there. So it will become a kind of series. Later I will download the photos in the photos-file, so each one can have a look here. Will start with the Holy Hill: Arunachala. When being there it was in full green as it is the rainy season now. Also there are more trees now - many have been planted - and the Hill starts to recover. The Hill is a very charming place. Huge bolders are lying round and as one moves along the view changes again and again. So it is always of interest to have a stop and a look. The Hill is very silent. Noise from town is heared, but if one listens to the Hill it has its own speach, which is that of silence. It means not that there is no noise. Indeed there are animals on and also one meets different people: wood- and grasscutters, women collecting vedgetables and herbs, Saddhus, visitors, devotees, stone-carvers .... but nevertheless the Hill has its own "voice", which is much attracting. This here is a view from the beginning pradakshina road (as soon as one leaves the main road). Yours in His Grace Gabriele Attachment: (image/jpeg) Pradakshina2,2.11.03.jpg [not stored]
