yadrcchA lAbha samtushTo dvandvAtIto vimatsarah |

samah siddhAv asiddhau ca krtvA 'pi na nibadhyate ||

(4.22) 40

Satisfied with whatever Grace may bring, free from the pairs of opposites, free

from envy, steady in both success and failure, although acting he is never

bound.

--

ISvarah sarvabhUtAnAm hrddeSe 'rjuna tishThati |

bhrAmayan sarvabhUtAni yantrArUDhAni mAyayA ||

(18.61) 41

The Lord dwells in the Heart of all beings, O Arjuna, and by his uncanny power

(maya) spins all beings around as if they are mounted on a roundabout.

tam eva SaraNam gaccha sarva bhAvena bhArata |

tatprasAdAt parAm SAntim sthAnam prApsyasi SASvatam ||

(18.62) 42

Go to Him alone for refuge, with all your being, O Bharata. By His Grace alone

shall you obtain Peace Supreme, the Eternal Abode.
