Some news regarding Sri V. Ganesan

A few hours ago I received this email from Sri V.

Ganesan (the Grand Nephew of Sri Ramana Maharshi):

 

"Pranams.

 

Tomorrow, at the Apollo Hospital, Chennai,

Dr.Ramachandran, Head of the Cardiology Dept., will be

examining me. Then, angiogram will be taken to decide

what next procedure has to be taken up, as my

stress-test has revealed a positive blockade in the

artery. I am leaving Arunachala, early tomorrow

(now, it is 6 a.m., Friday, here) to Chennai,

accompanied by Smt.Anuradha and my brother Mani.

 

I need your blessings -- not to prolong my life-span,

but to get closest to Self, the Holy Twin Feet of

Sat-Guru Bhagavan Ramana ! The doctors, perhaps,

might be reaching my heart in the left-side;

I want to be ever rooted in the Heart at the

right-side, where my Beloved Master resides !

I hope that Sri Ganesan's spiritual wish is fulfilled

and I also hope that his body will be healed too.

Ganesan is a wonderful loving man.

I think it is a divine blessing that, when our lives

are seriously threatened by conditions such as this,

the presence of pain and disability takes away our

power of choice.

At 71, I had a series of arteriograms, PTCA's

(angioplasties with stenting), all of which failed,

requiring a triple coronary bypass graft. That was

March 2001, and now I am fully recovered. But I am

thankful that there was no other option; because I

could never have made the choice without being pushed.

There are people who pay to parachute from a 'plane; I

could never do it unless the 'plane was on fire!

My blessings to Sri Ganesan that his earthly shadow

may soon be as sprightly as mine! And may he perhaps

help me to understand how all shadows evaporate in the

Sun.
