Guest guest
Merry Christmas to all the members here! May God / the Self turn out more and more in our lifes, may the egos dissolve into THIS. Then surely the whole universe will jubilate! When we celebrate today that "God is born" - what else could that mean? The photo shows the "Theotokos" which is a popular motif in Christian Orthodox Iconography. Theotokos means the "God-bearer". When we follow atma vichara, exactly that happens, though we would possibly not say that God is born, but that the ego has gone, as God/Self is always and eternal there and can't be born. But from outside - if it happens - it may look as if IT has been born. The Greek writing in the gloriole of Christ says: "O ON" - this is "The One who IS" - or simply: Being. Kind regards Gabriele Attachment: (image/jpeg) theotokos-sign.jpg [not stored]
