~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now we have arrived at Ramanashram, where we will stay for some time.
Two views:
1. When we have passed the place for leaving the footwear, the office and the
bookshop there is a step, which leads in the inner area.
Now this view opens: Left hand side, passing the New Hall and Mother's Samadhi
(which we will visit later),
there is Bhagavan's Samadhi Hall, in the background Arunachala.
A devotee said, that this is the most blessed view at the Ashram, as from this
point one can see inside the Samadhi
Hall and Arunachala at the same time, only turning round. When we went on
pradakshina and came back, we bowed here to complete our round.
We may do now similar.
Right hand side a small path leads to the Nirvana room (not in sight), at which
we will have a look later. Behind right hand side after the steps
is the dormitory for the men. Left hand side after the steps follows the kitchen
and dining hall.
If one goes straight on and then turns right the cattle is found.
If one turns left alongside the Samadhi Hall, after the steps, one comes to
another entrance of the Samadhi Hall, the Old Hall and the dining hall,
This is also the path to the animal samadhis and to the accomodations.
2. look in direction to the entrance from inside:
right hand side, where the old man is walking, is again the Samadhi Hall, behind
it the New Hall and Mother's Shrine.
It is all built together - it has become one building and one can move from one area to the other.
So we can make a round entering the Samadhi Hall, going from there to Mother's
Shrine and from Mother's Shrine
to the New Hall and there we will come out again. We will do so in the following days.
Left hand side is again the Nirvana Room - not in view.
Tomorrow we will go inside the Samadhi Hall for obeisance and pradakshina at Bhagavan's tomb.
