Dear David ,you should have written not to michael,he is Awareness of

Awareness.Alan , that's me'

is a Diver.I start with a bastika from the diaphram and take one deep inhalation

and hold it as

long as I can while attention probes from the pineal through the Heart doorway

on the right

searching for the Source of the me in the interior, with eyes closed..One holds

that thought of

searching for the source to keep off other thoughts.Depth varies and can never

be forecast .There

are no answers .The practice is the process .You will find palpitation on the

right side of the

chest as you go deeper .A Bastika ends the plunge to clear out residual

thought.You are holding

breath like a pearl diver ,searching for the pearl of great price. The process is

progressive, your

vasanas get cleaned out , there are changes in the thought patterns ,you become

quieter and more

satvic ,intimations and changes happen seemingly miraculous.Take a few dips and

see what happens.

..Regards , in His grace,Alan

This practice can be deducd from a careful selective reading of Talks -see index

Diving .
