How to get the book of Privy Counsel

A few people have requested how to find the Book of Privy Counsel.

 

Try to find The Cloud of Unknowing by William Johnston, Editor. The Book of

Privy Counsel is the second part of that book. I have read a few translations,

but this is by far the best one available.

 

If you don't mind ordering electronically, you can find it at amazon.com.

Otherwise, any local book store could probably order it for you.

 

Privy Counsel was so interesting for me that I obtained a copy of the medieval

english text. It's surprising how much is still readable after nearly 700 years.

I'm slowly doing my own translation and plan to release it into the public

doman. But don't hold your breath. If I'm lucky, it might be finished by the end

of the year.
