om namo bhagavate sri ramanaya

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Members,
there was again a longer break, but now I hope to continue more
regularly with the journey.
We have at last been visiting Mother's Shrine, now we enter
from there the New Hall, where Bhagavan spent his
last months.
The room is - compared with the Old Hall - large and rich,
it is not very homely there to stay, also a little bit dark. Also today not many people
are found there to meditate. Normally one enters there, has
a look and goes further to Mothers Shrine, but it is not inviting much to stay there for longer
in a meditative mood.
There is a big stone couch, which Ramana did not like so much to sit on,
as it is reported. It is a very artful work, as one can possibly see
a little bit on the picuture, made of a big black stone. But sitting on it seems not
to be very comfortable.
The window behind the stone couch shows the Samadhi Hall.
As already said, Samadhi Hall, Temple of the Mother and New Hall are
built together. Entering the Samadhi Hall, one can go to Mother's Shrine and
from there to the New Hall and leaving again, or the other way round of course.
The other picture shows the look from the New Hall to outside. At the background
the small Nirvana Room shows up - where we will have a look tomorrow.
