I think that's bang on, Ben. It's said that a realized

man can do whatever he likes (having long ago

abandoned doing what he WANTS)without loss of

spiritual status. Incarnate as the perfect robber, or

murderer, whatever - it will all be for the same

benefit to mankind. But almost never does, since

shocking people would not be doing what he likes.

Finding a more pleasant way does not in the least

restrict his choice.

If the realized one is incapable of sin, as he is,

then how can he be more liberated than I, who have no

such incapability, and find sinning quite easy. Must

work that one out! No hurry, in the meantime; eternal

bliss sounds rather tedious.

(When they found Diogenes begging alms from a statue,

and asked him the reason,he replied: "I was practising

disappointment". Thales (I think) exhibited the same

'sameness'. He was addressing a street crowd on

immortality, and made the statement "There is no

difference between life and death". At which an

unconvinced lout yelled out: "So why don't you jump

off a cliff"? "Because there is no difference".

Best wishes,

Nasrudin

Reality is Love. When Reality or Love is realised as

your true nature, your

being, you see the world as Reality, as Love. The

world of separation is

seen as a dream. Actions will spontaneously arise from

that undivided

Reality, which again is Love.

There will be no more division, all is seen as One.

In this case all action will have the stamp of Love

imprinted on it.

Love doesn't need machineguns. It is the illusion of

separation that needs

them.

Yours,

Ben.
