It would be good if posters, authors, publishers, indeed anyone who makes a

reference to the Ramana Maharshi Literature could supply page numbers only as a

last resort.

 

This is because the editions change, and with it the page numbers.

 

Any reference made to the book Talks has a Talk Number, which does not change.

 

In Letters from Sri Ramanasramam and in Day by Day with Bhagavan we have the date.

 

If these details are supplied, devotees are able to look up and read the extract

for themselves, whichever edition of the book they possess.
