Heart Pull

There seems to be a sensation - almost throbbing - but more of a

pull on the right side of the chest. This pulling sensation is

present much of my walking life and causes no discomfort. I have

done much spritual reading and recognize the contradictions and

discussions of the spiritual heart. I am not really interested in

theory but on how to do Self-Inquiry with this experience present.

Could I get some guidence on "Watch wherefrom this sphurana

(throbbing) arises and wait attentively".

This quote comes from the site:

In the course of tracing ourselves back to our source, when all

thoughts have vanished, there arises a throb from the Hridaya on

the right, manifesting as 'Aham' 'Aham'. This is the sign that

Pure Consciousness is beginning to reveal itself. But that is not

the end in itself. Watch wherefrom this sphurana (throbbing) arises

and wait attentively and continually for the revelation of the

Self. Then comes the awareness, oneness of existence.

Thanks so kindly

Ron

Make every effort to fix the mind on the sphurana. Let there be no resistance to

the experience. In fact, if sphurana is felt the fascination is automatic. The

pull irresistible. Let it become all consuming. Wait without expectation. If

the mind stirs, even slightly, enquire 'who am I?' If sphurana is 'felt'

continuously, without effort, there is no more to ask!

Dear Miles,

Thanks so much for your words. I find what you say very powerful and

confirming of the experience. I can see some resistance that can easily be

removed.

Thanks much,

Ron
