> 1) This Garland of Guru's sayings, the Transcendental Lamp of Knowledge,

> smiting away the delusions of 'I' and 'mine', would shine as clear bright

> Awareness of Being in the Hearts of those deeply hankering after the Divine

> Grace, but not vouchsafed of That, (then) saving them from the debilitating

> despondency of the mind.

> 2) When I lay smarting in the pain of the putrid body, mistaking it to be

> my true self, came Gracious Ramana to my rescue as the bestower of the

> Imperishable Awareness, smiting away my ignorance; with His Holy Feet, let

> me crown my head (or submit to him).

>

> 3) Let me crown my head with the Holy Feet of Guru Ramana, the paragon of

> Wisdom, revealing the ultimate truth with great clarity and certitude,

> reconciling the diverse dogmas, doctrines and disputes of different creeds,

> with the one true Awareness.
