Guest guest
Dear Members, want to wish each member a blessed Whitsun (pentecoste)!! This is one of the main feasts in Christianity - dedicated to the Holy Spirit, the third in Christian Trinity ... to the force (shakti) through which God works ... Today it is often neglected - many Christians can't do anything with this feast anymore - what a pity, as indeed it is much speaking. For myself it has much to do with what happens when Self reveals ... experienced possibly also through Kundalini-rising ... It is the fire, the Spirit of God, which takes possession of everything ... and works as it wants ... we don't have any influence here anymore ... In the Bible it is told that those, suddenly overcome by the Holy Spirit, could speak the universal language ..... and all where one. I am adding a picture found in the net - may be it is from Giotto ... Kind regards Gabriele Attachment: (image/jpeg) SSC-pentecoste-l.jpg [not stored]
Guest guest
Om Namo Bhagavathe Sri Ramanaaya Thanks for this, Gabriele. It reminds me of the bit where all those flames ascended (or descended?) onto the disciples' heads; it must surely be the same thing. And surely it is the rise of Kundalini decribed in other words. Like you, I sometimes feel I am mourning for the apparent loss of the old and long-established golden things in all religions. That is why so many incidents from Sri Bhagavan's life and the experience of devotees who were there during the bodily presence, and of those who continue to feel the presence directly, after the body has fallen away. His power and intense love is just as great (if not greater) now as it ever was. What a pity that there seem to be so many who aspire after this new age stuff! anbudan John Siva—Siva RamanaMaharshi, "gabriele ebert" <g.ebert@g...> wrote: > Dear Members, > > want to wish each member a blessed Whitsun (pentecoste)!! > This is one of the main feasts in Christianity - dedicated to the Holy Spirit, the third > in Christian Trinity ... to the force (shakti) through which God works ... > Today it is often neglected - many Christians can't do anything with this feast anymore - > what a pity, as indeed it is much speaking. > > For myself it has much to do with what happens when Self reveals ... experienced possibly > also through Kundalini-rising ...
