Guest guest
Hello everybody Sri Ramana response, Q: When can one practice Sahaj Samadhi? A: Even from the beginning. Even though one practises Kevala Nirvikalpa Samadhi for years together, if one has not rooted out the vasanas one will not attain liberation. Anybody could say how this practice is done. I appreciate more details With Love Abdel

Guest guest
om namo bhagavate sri ramanaya Dear Abdel, > Hello everybody > > Sri Ramana response, > > Q: When can one practice Sahaj Samadhi? > > A: Even from the beginning. Even though one practises Kevala > Nirvikalpa Samadhi for years together, if one has not rooted out the > vasanas one will not attain liberation. > > Anybody could say how this practice is done. > I appreciate more details > > With Love > Abdel By means of a conscious quest for the 'I'-thought, the first (and last) of all thoughts, the human condition is resolved and sahaja samadhi revealed. The habit-forming daily game of 'nAmarUpa' (name and form or mindstuff) which starts upon waking and ends with sleep is the only obstruction. If Self-enquiry can become the default state of mind throughout daily activity the 'game' is truly resolved. Then, it is as if, the 'namarupa' game, mind, which is simply a recognizing and naming mechanism, comes out only when there is a need for it. The Sage eats, sleeps, and remembers past events. All transformation is nAmadheyam (in name only). As all things made of gold have an essence of gold irrespective of the outer shape, so the Sage abides in and as the Self irrespective of outward appearances. (cf. Chandogya Upanishad; Chapter 6) 'Those who are in the sahaja nirvikalpa state are like a light in a windless place, or the ocean without waves; that is there is no movement. They cannot find anything which is different from themselves.' (from Letters...30th October 1947) This is the ever-present natural state, one does go into and come out of it. Whether the eyes of such a man are open or closed, there is no fluctuation. 'Others notice the jnani active...He is not himself aware of his activities. They pertain to his body and not to his real Self, swarupa.' (from Talks; 82) nAmarUpa - the state of self and other; subject and object swarUpa - the Self; own essence Regards, Miles
Guest guest
om namo bhagavate sri ramanaya Please note there is an omission in previous message. The line should read: This is the ever-present natural state, one does not go into and come out of it. Whether the eyes of such a man are open or closed, there is no fluctuation. Thank you, Miles
Guest guest
Dear Abdel, To be able to "practice" any type of samadhi one must first "experience" that particular samadhi. The practice of samadhi is the last rung on the ladder of classic yoga practice. It comes to the qualified aspirant in due course of time. Having experienced it through practice of spiritual disciplines or by virtue of one's karma, one will intuitively know how to practice it. No matter what one may think one may not place the "cart before the horse". Warmest regards, michael --- aroushan2000 <a_roushan wrote: > Hello everybody > > Sri Ramana response, > > Q: When can one practice Sahaj Samadhi? > > A: Even from the beginning.
