Dear everyone,

Several months ago, whenever it was that Michael L.

became aware of what he calls "awareness watching

awareness", a joy arose in my heart. I felt so glad

for Michael L. There isn't any doubt that a

breakthrough had been achieved, for him as well as

others. And in the months since then, I have noticed

that several persons have at least appeared to have

benefited from Michael L.'s revelation. Just today, on

the atma_vichara list, "lsherm 47" wrote a wonderful

and inspiring post that I hope that everyone has read.

She experienced the same revelation that Michael L.

has experienced.

Linda and Michael L. have both exerted enormous

efforts and they found a place in their own hearts.

Find your heart. Magic is enshrined there in your

very own heart - your very own magic. Please, don't

argue with the word "magic". Just substitute your own

heartfelt word or phrase whatever that word or phrase

may be. Let's don't quibble over words. And lets

don't quibble over methods or a lack of method.

Which form of Ramana's teachings was the greatest? -

The teaching in silence, or the teachings transmitted

by words? According to Ramana, his true teaching was

transmitted in silence. We have read accounts of

persons' "silent", "mystical / magical" encounters

with Sri Ramana Maharshi. These "encounters", these

unspeakable "wonders" are the "heart of the matter".

Michael L's "awareness watching awareness" method is a

very high form of "atma vichara". In "awareness

watching awareness" Michael L. has found his own

heart. Different persons practice different ways.

Some persons claim that practice is futile and

counter-productive. Some people believe "this" and

some people believe "that". Some people say that

Ramana said "this" and some persons say that Ramana

said "that". But I only ask, "Have you found your own

heart?".

Love beyond words,

michael bowes
