Guest guest
Hello everyone; The posting below is from Sri. V. Ganesan, from Arunachala. I hope you like you. SLEEP, DREAM, WAKING, DHYANA, SELF-ENQUIRY, SAMADHI 'Begin with the beginning' . Make use of the known 'tool' given to us by God. God-given things are the 'signposts' to move towards Truth. They themselves are NOT the Truth - they point to Truth. God in you, wants you to make 'correct' use of them. (Like, making use of a knife or misuse of it). These God-given tools can be wasted - how ? By ourselves submerging into ignorance, further and further - which, the Buddha calls as 'the Wheel of Samsara' - by wrongly making use of them. Bhagavan Ramana, on the other hand, studiously urges us to make good use of these - 'continuously' , 'relentlessly' and 'with joy' ! What is the 'correct' use ? SLEEP = Your Guide - to lead you to 'Jnana', the Self. DREAM = Your Guide - training you as to 'how' and 'why' you have to "reject" the World. WAKING = Your Tyrrant Dictator - ever forcefully, ploughing you into the World (of ignorance). 'Realising' it so, is to 'jump' out of such unending 'ignorance'. DHYANA = Your Benumbing Panacea, only to strengthen you to give up the "dosha" of the waking state. SELF-ENQUIRY = Your Invisible Vehicle (Rocket), to take off from 'ignorance' - pass safely through 'illusions' of the World of objects and subjects; and, make you 'fall'(take you to) at the Sacred Feet of the Sat-Guru, which is the 'Samadhi' state, inside theHeart. SAMADHI = Your Guru within, putting His Holy Feet on your head - thus plunging you into Bliss ! This is the whole enactment of the "Game of Pretending" of SELF REALISATION ! The 'pawns' in the 'game' being - 'ego-self', 'inert-body', 'wandering-mind', 'projecting-world', 'non-existent illusion' , 'imagined-seeking' and 'attaining the Goal' ! One has to 'attain' the Goad, which ever remains attained ! "Giving up of ignorance which was never there and attainment of the Self, which is ever there", is the clarification given by Sri Bhagavan, when asked to define Truth ! ===== "The Self is always realized. Look within and be still! - Bhagavan Sri Ramana _______________________________ Declare Yourself - Register online to vote today! http://vote.
