Guest guest
STUDY GROUP on SPIRITUAL INSTRUCTION CHAPTER 2 PRACTICE Abhyasa V14. Q. What is dhyana (meditation)? M. It is abiding as the Self without swerving even slightly from the state of the Self in any of the avasthas [the three states of waking, dreaming and sleeping], and without giving room for even the thought `I am meditating'. As the differences between the avasthas do not appear at all in this condition, sleep is also regarded as dhyana. ------- anu
