Felt the urge to share this with the group, Wei Wu Wei often refers to Ramana in his books.

I cannot know what I am,

For that would need a knower to know it.

I can only be; unconscious of being at all?

 

But then there would still be an I, an I that is,

And that is unconscious of something that is

And is called being.

 

How couuld there be any thing at all,

Either being or I?

 

Where could there be for any thing to be

Extended in space?

When could there be for any thing to be

Extended in time?

 

 

 

Who?

 

I cannot say it,

I cannot know it,

I cannot be it.

 

Because I am it,

And all it is I am.
