Richard,

What a nice opportunity!

***

I am living in Bangalore now and two weeks ago had my

first visit to Ramanashram. It was a very great spiritual

experience.

I also did the Giri Pradakshinam (Circling the hill) and

these last two weeks have been so different.

It was a one-day trip and I am longing to visit the place

again...

Since you are guided by your great teacher Nome, nothing

more you can ask for!

With Deep desire for liberation and disregard for everything else,

'The Outer Guru will push you inward and The Inner Guru will

pull you inward', Ramana says.

Prayers,

Ravi

Dear Ravi.

Thank you for your good wishes.

We will be here one week. We expect to take the circle walk of the

Great Hill on thee night of the full moon (next Monday, I think).

I have felt at Ramanasramam already how holy the place is.

I cannot express the deep experience I had upon my first entry into

the old hall! I found myself falling to the floor in pramanam,, full

of tears at the sight.

have you gone to satsang at the Ramana shrine in Bangalore? ( Or to

the Ramana Maharshi Centre for Learning ) If you do, tell A R

Natarajan or his daughter that Richard from SAT suggested that you

go.

Not two,

Richard

Richard,

Thanks for sharing the experience at Ramanashram.

I too had overwhelming experience at the Old Hall. I sat down

and closed my eyes. In a few minutes, I heard (in my minds

ears) a sentence

in Malayalam (not my native tongue, but this sentence has only

words I can understand, words whose roots are ancient Tamil) -

"Purathae Onnum Ilya", meaning

"There is nothing outside".

I was so amazed by the clarity

and directness of this teaching! In the last two weeks, the

conviction that the World imagination is a cinema show projected

by our own mind is getting stronger day by day!

***

As I was going around His Shrine, I prayed to Him, "Now that you

are not here physically, why dont you give me an opportunity to

meet a

fully realized soul?". Even before that thought completed, the

answer occured to me: "Inga irukkarudhu thaane angiyam irukku"

("Whatever is Here is There also!" )

prodding me to probe within myself and meet my Inner Guru -

The Self of all.

I immediately asked: "What do I do to realize that?"

Again, the answer came: "Nothing to do. Just be quiet."

And the peace and fulfillment that moment is inexplicable.

***

After long hesitation, I decided to share this here.

He lives and guides us day by day, if we listen.

Dear Ravi and Richard & Alan and others here who are

having the direct experience in the form of travel to

India,

Thanks so much for sharing your experiences of

Ramanashrama. The guru is the symbol of our own

wholeness; the guru helps us to remain aware of our

own wholeness. There is really only that to consider,

find out, and be at peace with. Om Shanti!
