Guest guest
Hi, I wondering if anyone can help me to know what time the chat is compared to Eastern Standard Time (or any time zone) in the U.S.? I would love to sit in but am lost as to how to translate the time. Thank you very much. Joli
Guest guest
Hello Joli, The answer can be found at the following web page. http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html Note to Moderators - Perhaps these links could be sent out with the reminder of the chat group meeting each week? That way anyone can work out what time the meeting will be in their part of the world. Guest guest
Thank you Peter, That is a cool clock converter! I used the UK 4 p.m. information in the notice to determine that it will be 11 a.m. EST where I live. For the conversion, I needed to pick a country that the time is originating from, and there are several countries to chose from for the UK designation. I chose London, England? I apologize, i am new to the group, is England correct? Thank you for your kind assistance! Hope to join with you on Friday. joli RamanaMaharshi, "Peter Merriott" <not_2@b...> wrote: > Hello Joli, > > The answer can be found at the following web page. > > http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ > > http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html > > > Note to Moderators - Perhaps these links could be sent out with the reminder > of the chat group meeting each week? Guest guest
Hi Joli, Yes, you are right. The time usually advertised for the group is given as UK (United Kingdom) time at 4pm. So, if you are using the link below: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html 1. Select time and place to convert from - which is... a) Proposed date at 4.pm b) Select UK/England/London 2. Select Place to convert to: i.e enter your own location 3. Click "Convert Time" I only manage to join occasionally. Hope you have a good meeting next week.
