Ramana's Teachings and Transformation of once life

Hi Everybody,

 

There was a two day Seminar in Bangalore, India, on the topic

of "Ramana's Teachings and Transformation of once life" organized by

Ramana Maharshi Center for Learning. I did had an opportunity to

participate in this wonderful event and all thanks to the Guru Ramana

to make this happen.

 

Here are some of the views expressed by some of great Ramana devotees

 

1. Ramana fundamentally changes the way his devotees perceive things

in and around them. The reason for this phenominal change is due to

the fact that one starts seeing himself as just 'I am' and not

associate with objects.

 

2. In the very first teaching of Ramana to his mother when she

visited him in Tiruvannamalai asking him to return back home he said

 

"The Ordainer controls the fate of souls in accordance with their

past deeds, their prarabdha karma. Whatever is destined not to happen

will not happen, try how hard you may. Whatever is destined to happen

will happen, do what you may to stop it. This is certain. The best

course therefore is for one to be resigned."

 

Each of his disciples will soon realize this when they look at their

past and figure out that whatever happened in there past turned out

good for them (eventhough we did dislike/liked it back then). This

makes them feel good that the future is even brighter due to the

grace of the SadGuru.

 

3. Ramana shall ensure that all his disciples are focused on his/her

karmas and at the same time he/she is stead fast on the path of

liberation. Its such a wonderful love and grace that he showers on us

to ensure that we are on the track of truth with all wordly duties

duly accomplished.

 

4. Sadguru abiding in the heart of his disciple ensures that he/she

gets rid of all vasanas and takes full control on the yoga-kshema of

his disciple. yoga-kshema means [yoga-to acquire qualities one does

not have] [kshema-to retain such acquired qualities for ever].

 

5. Disciples of a SadGuru will always find it hard to explain how

his Sadguru Teachings has transformed his life. Its not one set of

event to explain its a continues change which is happening in once

heart due to shear grace of the guru.

 

6. Last but not the least, if any one of us are feeling any of the

above mentioned changes in life; you could be rest assured that

Ramana has your name in the list of people he loves and cares. So,

when something does not happen according your expectation dwell "Guru

please abide me in your teachings are shower your grace". On the

other hand when something does happen watch out for the EGO and

dwell "Thank you my lord for such a grace on a poor human being like

me and please have this love towards me forever, until I strongly

abide in you".

 

All of these are really true if we all sit back and look at it. Such

is the grace of a Sadguru and zillion Pranam's to his lotus feet sor

such an unconditional love towards us".
