I am afraid I did not understand it. Could anyone please explain the same to me. In nirvikalpa samadhi (a very high state of transcendental awareness) the senses are inactive. To know, implies subject and object. Here Turiya is used in place of Sahaj Samadhi. Mind merges in the Heart in Nirvikalpa Samadhi and as the breath energy is withdrawn into its source, the senses become inactive and the body is immobile as in deep sleep. In Sahaj Samadhi, the mind has been fully resolved in its Source, and may be said to exist as a phantom or a skeleton and the Self fully dominates in all states of consciousness.
