Guest guest
II ALONE [V 11] The Great Sage, unfathomable, free from fear, Alone in Himself stands firm. His solitude Fosters the flowering of beatitude: They're blind, who lust, gold and greed hold dear. There being pure existence for the Seer, No place is left in His peaceful plenitude For problems , `real' or unreal' ,His space to occlude; No false world rises or sets from the Sun so near. How, seeing this dazzling Light at play so bold, Can one whose true state is Self empowered, When seeing a golden ring, see other than gold? As lilies grow, so is His noble field beflowered. A man awake knows none of last life's dream, His cloak, no mind, is like a robe without a seam.
