Guest guest
"There may certainly be some pure-hearted souls that could all become "chhinna samsayah" (cleared of all doubts). But in my case, my mind ran to the preparations like pulihodara and dadhyodhanam, as it was dinner time." (Ref: in the sixth paragraph of Suri Nagamma's letter) pulihodara is "tamarind rice"; but I don't know what is dadhyodhanam. Does any member know? Guest guest
Om namo bhagavathe ramanaya. Dadhyodhanam ---------------------- It is a dish of rice mixed with curd. South Indian rice dish. Cook rice separately. In Oil saute mustard, jeera seeds, green/red chilly pieces, grate ginger, add to curd with salt, coriander leaves. I think i am correct. If it is wrong.,please forgive me. Guest guest
Dear Friends In this context....the buttermilk (Moru) and Rasam in Ramanasramam is the best and tastiest. The Asramam cooks take utmost care in preparing the meals. It is truly a delight to go to the Asramam kitchen early in the morning and see "how everything just gets cooked".
