Guest guest Posted March 13, 2006 Report Share Posted March 13, 2006 What Bhagavan suggested -Simply observing one's own breathing process i.e inhaling and exhaling.Other techniques like inhaling holding -exhaling in a specific ratio are advanced techniques of pranayama and it is advisable to do them only under guidance of an expert. Sri bhagavan suggested that pranayam in the above form could be done when the influence of thoughts is more and when one feels difficulty in controlling thoughts during self- inquiry. after a few minutes of observance of breathing, mind subsides and enquiry could be continued. podury Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
