Dear Vijay, I am curious to know how you do the enquiry ? Ithink it would

be better for group members to sharewith us their experiences ..as well as to

tell us howthey practice Ramana's teachings. This will be helpfulto all and our

satsangh will be more fruitful. alec

Dear Shri Alec,

Iam trying to do vichara for quite sometime.initiallly i

practised mantra japam and later i came to bhagawan.Whatever may be the outward

activity, say working, sleeping, bathing, walking, even thinking or even anger

,etc..,i just take a small break and find whos doing. Then i feel that"Iam"in

the background of all activities. Also when i sit alone and do this with

thoughts,i become sleepish most of the times.Once in a blue moon i goto the

base or a split second. The more i do this enquiry, the more it is clear of

myself.I can say iam more coherent now than before doing the enquiry. Also i do

this asanas, bhastrika and kapalbhati yogic exercises thrice in a week.I dont

know whether it helps me.But it keeps me fresh and fit.So alec, what you do in

your practise?

Dear Brij,

Thank u for sharing with me your spiritual

practice. Before coming to Ramana I was a serious

follower of Krishanamurty.. I don't see any difference

in their teachings basically.. except that K had less

patience for those whose approach was different.. I

think both had a role to play in helping people find

enlightenment. You say it happened to u 35 years ago..

Did this happening set u free. Thanks for writing to

me.

regards.
