The rough meaning of the slOkam is:

 

"Oh! SrI RAma dhootha!You are the one who can accomplish the impossible.

Come on! Tell me! Is there anything that you cannot accomplish? Oh! Ocean of

mercy! My Lord!

Kindly make my wishes come true"

 

It is not so much the obvious meaning of the SlOka but the magic power the

mantram has that is within the experience of devout bhaktas of Sri HanumAn

and brings them instant relief, especially during trying times.
