Guest guest
Dear Friends: A variety of scholars have written on Sriranga Mahatmiyam. Appropriately titling it as Sriranga Vijayam, U.Ve. Purisai Swamy's exposition would resemble Periya Bhattar's anubhavam. In addition to his anushtaanams and kaalakshepams, Swamy is able to find time to attract fools like me with his unique writing skills. How easily Swamy is approachable, even by those with no aachaaram is well known. Sriranga Vijayam is not a mere narration, but it brings out Swamy's research scholarship, unmatched in scientific world. It is our luck that we are able to enjoy Swamy's Sad-upadesam during our life time. We should be ever grateful to Anbil Swamy for spreading the message to a wider audience. Because of the changes in the Periya Kovil management in recent times I am tempted to send this message so that the visitors won't be disappointed. During my younger days I had seen and fed parrots in cages in Kili Mandapam. Later over-sized cages were used to breed the birds. Respecting the animal protection group's concerns dummy birds are kept now in Kili Mandapam. However, Pranavaakara Vimaana ParaVasudevar sevai from Kili Mandapam now is same as what was enjoyed by Kili Cholan then. Adiyen, K. P. Sarathy, Alabama Photos - Share your holiday photos online!
