give lectures

in English and Tamil. We should all make use of this divine opportunity.

srI Velukkudi Swami has been giving discourses in Tamil and English, covering

Bhagavat Gita, Alwars 4000 prabhandhams which include Andal’s Thiruppavai,

Srimad Ramayanam, Srimad Bhagavatam, Vishnu Sahasranamam, Vedas and

Upanishads.

He is proficient in Sanskrit and Hindi as well.

 

Places that have enjoyed his discourses include :

Thirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, Bharat Kalachar, Kartik fine arts, RR Sabha,

Mylapore fine arts, Ayodhya mandap, Triplicane temple, Narada gana Sabha,

University of Madras. Srirangam Temple and in many other places including

Calcutta, Bombay, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Salem and Madurai

 

He has also been giving Discourses in Jaya TV and Raj TV, Podigai channel,

regular AIR lectures, extensive Coverage in Indian Express regularly and in

the

Spiritual column of The Hindu. He has travelled to  Bankok, Singapore and

Malaysia giving discourses at various places.

 

Among the titles he has been conferred are “Baala vaag amratavarshi” and

“Upanayasa Kanteerava”.

Services rendered :

Humanitarian: As the Chairman – Trustee of Swami Nammazhvar (India)

Foundation,

a religious charitable trust to propogate message of brother hood, he has been

starting schools and small hospitals in rural areas.
