Summer camp for children on Sri Vaishnavam.

Swami Nammalwar (India) Foundation (Chennai) conducted an unique summer camp for

school children. The camp was organised by Sri.Uba.Ve. K.E.B. Rengarajan Swami

on behalf of the foundation. 9 boys and 5 girls attended the week long camp at

Thirunindravur Divya Desam. Thirupathi Periya Jeer madam,Thirunindravur was

the residential venue. Sri.Uba.Ve.Nagai Veeraraghavachariar swami stayed with

the childern all the 8 days (from 6-12 may 2001) and conducted sessions on

nithyaanusandhanam, Emperumanin Avatharangal, Alwar Acharya Vaibhavam. Sri Uba.

Ve. Sheadri swami taught the children songs on acharyaas and Emperuman. Sri.

Uba. Ve. Sthalasayanam Swami and Sri. Uba. Ve. K.B. Devarajan Swami visited the

camp and blessed the children with their upanyasams.

The children enjoyedthe camp very much and they proved to be potential

baagavathothamas. Sri.Uba.Ve.Nagai Veeraraghavachariar swami remarked that

given the proper environment each of our children could raise to the level of

Bhattar, Desikar and others.

Adiyen had the bagyam of being a volunteer in the camp, I only felt that the

kids knew more about the sampradayam and they had the right attitude and

inclination(coupled with tolerence) which gives an enthusiasm of a bright

future for this the "Bagavath Ramanuja Darsanam"
