Guest guest
Dear Bhagavatas: You will remember that the first ever Srivaishnava Conference was held at Buffalo, New York (under the auspices of Swami Desika Darsana Satsangam) formed on the Tirunakshatram day in 1996. Subsequent Tirunakshatrams were celebrated – · In 1997: at Paramaikanti Sarvabouman, Dr. Venkat Kanumalla’s place in New York · In 1998: at Livermore temple in San Jose, along with the Tirunakshatram of Sri Manavala Mamunigal · In 1999: Again, at Dr. Venkat’s place. .. In 2000: By inaugurating a new electronic journal "Sri Ranga Sri" with the blessings of almost all Yathivaras and Acharyas. It has been the long felt desire of Dr. Vijayaraghavan Srinivasan, Dr G.Venkatadri and other Bhagavatas at Buffalo, New York to host the next celebration in their place. Accordingly, it was agreed that this year’s celebrations of Swami Desika’s Tirunakshatram be held at Buffalo on 29th September 2001. The Hindu Cultural Society of Western New York has volunteered to host the conference this year. "Sri Ramanuja Mission of Srirangam Srimath Andavan Ashramam". and "Swami Desika Darsana Satsangam" (SDDS) will join with the "Hindu Cultural Society of Western New York" in holding this conference. The Conference will be entitled “Acharya Vaibhavam Conference”. We cordially invite all bhagavathas and SriVaishnava Organizations to join us in celebrating the great Acharyas of our satsampradayam. All Bhagavatas are cordially invited to mark their calendar right now and arrange to attend the celebrations and receive the blessings of Divya Dhampatis and Acharyas. Let us together celebrate the Tirunakshatram in a befitting manner. The tentative program is given below. Updated details will be posted in due course. Looking forward to your participation and cooperation.
