WITH THE BLESSINGS OF SRIMATHE BHOOMI DEVI SAMETHA SRIMATH UPPILIAPPAN

and the guidance of POUNDARIGAPURAM SRIMATH ANDAVAN SWAMIGAL AND THE JEER

OF AHOBILAM MUTT the Poundarigapuram Sri Rajagopalaswamy Kainkarya Sabha

was able to complete the renovation of

Sri Rajagopalaswamy Temple at Poundarigapuram and perform MAHASAMPROKSHANAM

ON 4TH Nov 2001. The sabha was formed and registered in Nov-Dec 2000. The

renovation was started in Jan 2001. Due to the generous donation by

Philanthropists the sabha was able to complete the holy task in about ten

months. After Samprokshanam Mandalabhishekam was started and the poorthy

was also celebrated in a good scale on Sunday the 23rd Dec 2001.

The following works are still to be completed.

Cement flooring of Prakaram and

Quarters for Bhattachar.

The sabha is keen that Nithya Aradhanai should also continue. At present

devotees visiting Uppiliappan Koil are informed about Poundarigapuram Koil

and they are visiting the temple. Marghazhi Aradhanai is going on at present.

To ensure that Nithya aradhani continues the sabha has introduced a Nithya

Aradhanai kattalai scheme for the temple. As per the scheme if an

individual pays an one time sum of Rs 500/-- Archanai will be performed on

any day of the English calendar selected by the donor for life time. The

sabha proposes to invest the amount thus received and utilise the interest

obtained from the sum for the Aradhanai of the particular day chosen by the

individual.

The sabha requests all to join this scheme in the names of all the

members of their family. This will help the sabha in maintaining and

carrying out Nithya Aradhani in the temple. The members are also requested

to donate to the sabha to enable it to carry out the pending works.

The donations/contributions for the pending work and Nithya

aradhani kattalai may please be made by demand draft or cheque drawn on
