the Government of India today, on the occasion of the Republic Day of

We the the residents in Zambia are proud to know that your motner Smt. Mani

Krishnaswamy has been awarded "Padma Shree" Award by the President of India

during the 53rd republic day. A few years before Your parents were here on a

cultural exchange programme between the two countries. Your mother's

performance was a memorable expereience for all the residents in Zambia. Your

mother and father may recollect the visit.On behalf of the Zambia Tamil Arts

and Cultural Association and on my own behalf we congratulate Mrs Mani

Krishnaswamy for this worthy achievement and we pray lord Naarayana to give her

and all her family members long life , peace and prosperity.
