Swami,

I ahve attached a word document in which I have made an attempt to answer

the quiz. This is my maiden attempt to write on a topic involving our

sampradayam. I t was also impulsive as started writing it from the moment I

read your mail. I have not referred to any books/articles, I do not like to

incur the abachaaram of anyone. Please gothrough with karunai and bless me

with your reviews I shall correct myself where ever I am wrong.

I wouldnt have ventured in taking up this mighty task; I took it only

because I remembered what one swami told us once. "To talk about Sri

Vaishnavam, you dont have to say anything new because You cant say anything

new. even if the sabai is full of scholors, you will not be incurring their

abachaaram if you go up thier and start from the basics. you will not be

shut off" it is these words that gave me the strength to venture into this

One has to get a complete context of AchArya

RaamAnujA's Vaibhavam to understand His " revolutionary"

contribution . In your final paragraph, you identify

one of the great contributions.

 

I am sure that other BhakthAs will identify

the top most contribution based on their own

rasAnubhavams.That is a good thing to happen.

The multi-facted genius of AchArya RaamAnujA has to be

evaluated acros many of His contributions ; each of

the "revolutionary" contributions act like the hands of

the Lord (ahamaham ) competing with the other to help us

SamsAris gain Moksha Siddhi. This topic should be kept

open for many insights by bahkthAs of the list .

 

As we go thru IrAmaanusa NoRRandhAthi,

YathirAja sapthathi, YathirAja Vimsathi

et al, we get insights . Ordering the most

revolutionary one among the contributions

identified by AchArya RaamAnujA's sishya

Paramparai would be a challenging task

and worthy of engagement mainly because

of that effort will get us even closer to His

Dhivya CahraNAravindhams.
